Enthralling Earth
In our topic, Enthralling Earth, we will be discovering all about dinosaurs, rocks and fossils. We've started off our topic with some exciting visits from Dinomania and the Mad Scientist. We also had a fantastic (sunny!) trip to the beach where we got to be real-life paleontologists and find our own fossils. During this topic we will be carrying out our own science experiment and exploring Expressive Arts through Dance, Music and Art. The children have already come up with lots of fantastic pupil voice ideas that will be used in our explore tasks, such as making our own dinosaur bones, creating a habitat and researching to find our more information about dinosaurs.

How to help at home.
-Daily reading at home will support your child's learning, talk about the story. Here are some questions you could ask when you are reading together...
What do you think this story will be about? What might happen in the story? Which part of the story is your favourite / least favourite? Why? • Would you change any part of the story? How? • Would you change any of the characters? How? • Which part of the story was the funniest, scariest, saddest, and happiest? Find some evidence in the text to support your opinion. • What might happen next? • How do you think the story might end? • Who is your favourite character? Why? • Who is the character you like least? Why? • Find 2 sentences, which describe the setting.
Please update Boomreader regularly.
