Vision: to further develop a culture of 'cynhefin' in our school and community and encourage our community to use the Welsh language in day to day life. 

Purpose: to offer opportunities for the children and our families to take part in Welsh games and celebrate living in Wales. 

Previously:

• introduced Welsh playground games which increased the use of the Welsh language outside the classroom. 
• monitored the Helpwr Heddiw sessions to ensure consistency in classes. 
• organised a 'Bore coffi' for our families which celebrated the Welsh language and encouraged our families to use the langauge. 
• delivered Welsh assemblies to learn about the history / culture of Wales so further develop 'Cynhefin'. We all love being part of Wales. 
• achieved Siarter Iaith Silver Award

Aims:

• to further promote speaking Welsh around school and our local community - supporting our school target and the governments national target. 
• to organise the school Eisteddfod - celebrating Cynhefin and deepening a love for Welsh music and poetry. 
• to work towards achieve Siarter Iaith Gold Award - showing our commitment to developing Welsh at Llansannor.
